In Loving Memory
It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Maxmilian D'Souza on February 12, 2026 in Brampton, Ontario at the age of 87. He left us peacefully with his family by his side. Max was a loving husband to May (Mabel), whom he adored during their 61 years of marriage. Cherished father of Malcolm (Jennifer) and Mark (Jennifer). He was loved, adored and admired by his four grandchildren - Nicholas, Elle, Jaya and Sébastien.
Max was born on October 16,1938 in Karachi, Pakistan to parents Rafael and Delphine D'Souza. He had 4 siblings - (late) Peter, Dominic, (late) Grace and Johnny.
Max's adventurous spirit was evident when he and May moved from Karachi to Toronto in 1970, leaving all their family and friends at home. They were the first to immigrate and the entire family followed shortly thereafter. Max always had a smile and kind word for everyone and was so happy to help others in any way he could. He loved traveling, fishing, billiards, and dancing. He enjoyed his 50 year career in the airline industry and maintained great friendships with many of his co-workers throughout the years.
Max was an amazing family man and role model. He was happiest when surrounded by his wife, sons, daughters-in-laws and grandchildren and took more pride in their accomplishments than his own. He was a kind, gentle and humble person who demonstrated the values of honesty, integrity and hard work in all that he did. We will miss him dearly and will carry his memory with us forever!
May his soul rest in peace.
