It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved grandfather, Veer Singh, who departed this life on Dec 10th 2024 at the age of 92. Veer was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, dear brother, and a loyal friend to many.

Born on November 15, 1932 in Ba, Viti Levu, Fiji, Veer was known for his kindness and work ethic. He dedicated his life to his family and made a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Veer was passionate about his family, singing, gardening, and music. His legacy of hard work, generosity, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving son Raveen and his grandchildren, Navita and Navin. Also mourning his passing are his siblings, Surya Bhan Singh and Basant Kaur, as well as his many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

He is reunited in peace with his parents Jagannath and Sieuraji, his siblings, his wife Gulabwati, and his son, Praveen, all of whom preceded him in death.

The Antyesthi Sanskaar (cremation ceremony) will be held at 3pm on Saturday, December 14th, at Brampton Crematorium–30 Bramwin Court, where family and friends are invited to honor his life and share cherished memories. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.

Our hearts are broken, but we are comforted by the love and lessons he left behind. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
